Another Year is Coming~

It is difficult to believe another year is coming and we are already planning dates for the 2011 Main Street Antique Trade Days Flea Market.

Our next sale will be the eleventh and we are still going strong, having finally figured out what works best and is the most pleasing to the dealers, and most importantly, the customers.

So, mark your calendars for the

Spring sale Saturday, May 14 and the

Fall sale to be Saturday, October 22.

The rates for the upcoming sales have remained basically the same as they were in the very beginning five years ago.....such a deal! A 10'x10' is $50.00, while a "double wide" 10'x20' has increased from $75.00 to $85.00, which is still a bargain for the amount of space you get.

I have alot of my dealers that will be returning, however, there is always room for a few more. If you are thinking about joining us, please contact me as soon as possible as it is first come, first served.

My criteria is simple.......it's gotta be old.....vintage or antique....absolutely nothing ever, ever from China......unless that is China from 50 years ago when we the merchandise was of quality. No reproductions, no look alike, nothing. It can be hand made, it can be remade, but it's has to be the real deal.

It's a day of fun, it's high energy, and it's alot of work.......but we always have a good time!

FALL MAIN STREET ANTIQUE TRADE DAYS SALE

Wow, you would think I would give you guys more than two days to recuperate from the Spring sale before I announce the Fall sale, but I have found the better I plan, the better the sale is for everyone.

So, having said that, the Fall Sale is scheduled for Saturday, October 23rd

I am limited in how many dealers I can accommodate, so commit early to insure your place.......

It has been a long, long winter and I didn't think Spring would ever get here, however, when I stop to think about the short time between the Fall sale and the Spring sale, it just doesn't seem that long.....guess it was just all the cold weather on these old bones!

The sale is going to have a new look this year.

We have completed more landscaping making it for a nicer event. There will no longer be dealers in the center of the lot as it was just too congested for me and for our shoppers as well. Last spring we had over 30 dealers, however,

this year I am taking it back down to just 15 and by invitation only.

That way I can hopefully bring you only the best and give you the shopping experience you look forward to.

I am concentrating on having the sale "better" not "bigger".
